I’ve been lucky enough to be nominated and to win some awards in my adventures! So here is a list of them:

  • Won Most Dedicated Student at the I Love Student Radio Awards at the Student Radio Conference 2010.

I won this due to my hard work and dedication at Xtreme Radio, and also by helping out other student radio stations.

Most Dedicated Student

This award will go to an individual student who has shown the most dedication and commitment to student radio. This person is in constant contact with the SRA, goes the extra mile to help others get involved in student radio or is constantly coming up with new and interesting ways of getting student radio recognised. This person really knows the meaning of “I Love Student Radio”.

  • Won Silver for Best Technical Achievement at the national Student Radio Awards 2009

I won this award for my work at Xtreme Radio on the Onair Loop System, which is a backend feature of the website that does funky stuff!

    Best Technical Achievement

This category celebrates a technical development that has improved your student radio station. You have identified a need and designed and developed a practical, successful engineering or IT based solution to fulfil this need, especially where a project shows particular innovation and originality.
